In the recent Apple feats and events this year, the iPod Touch 6th Generation is sadly not in attendance. Everyone thought the new device will put in an appearance along with the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus last September and October, but the tech titan made no mention about it at all.

So before stressing on possible release dates for the pocket-sized Apple device, users are now caught in another dilemma in figuring out whether the iPod Touch 6 will ever transpire in the months to come.

Fans and media outlets have been on their guard should the device surface, but they are also keen to iterate the possible bottlenecks from making the launch happen.

According to Stabley Times, the Cupertino Company may be planning to integrate an NFC for the new Apple Pay to work on the small device. However, the payment system rollout seems to be too fresh to pull off the iPod 6 stunt, and Apple is looking for an assurance of a successful reception for the Apple Pay before thinking of integrating it to a new iPod Touch. But if the claim is accurate, then Apple may tap into the eventfulness of the holiday season to push low-key sales of the iPod Touch 6.

Another conjecture suggests that the titanic corporation is shunning any splotches that can muddle up its venture into full-size devices. If Apple will release the iPod Touch 6 along with its flagship phones, the attention of the users, and eventually the sales, will split. The company is only being smart by holding off the iPod Touch 6 so as to not injure the expected large limelight for the iPhone 6. Nevertheless, an iPod Touch 6 should not be far-fetched with this reasoning. Taking that into account, Techran Chronicle believes that before Christmas this year, the device will be available.

On the other hand, other speculations state that Apple is looking at another iPhone development. Therefore in the near future, next year to be precise, users may see either an iPhone 7 or an iPhone 6S.
