According to speculations, Apple will reveal a new, 4-inch iPhone at next week's Infinite Loop event. While previous rumors suggest that the new iteration, dubbed the iPhone SE, is largely a refreshed version of the iPhone 5s, it seems that Apple will be surprising fans with some improvements. One of the rumored features of the upcoming iPhone is a 4K camera, the same setup found in the iPhone 6s.

BGR reports that speculations on the new iPhone being similar to the iPhone 5s started when leaks and supposed renders appeared online, showing that the iPhone SE will indeed look like the previous-generation phone. However, the industry follower said that this will only be on the outside, as the iPhone SE will reportedly get massive upgrades, on par with the iPhone 6s, under the hood.

One of the things that the iPhone SE will reportedly get from the iPhone 6s is its iSight camera setup. According to Apple Insider, the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on promo footage that will eventually make its way to fans and will hopefully make it to next week's event. The industry observer's sources reportedly described the video as a showcase of the iPhone SE's improvements, and the focus is 4K footage captured with the device.

Another hint that Apple may be featuring 4K support for the iPhone SE is its supposed powerhouse, as reports claim that the 4-inch iPhone will be powered by the new A9 chipset, another signature feature of the iPhone 6s.

Meanwhile, aside from the 12MP iSight camera and an A9 processor, the iPhone SE will reportedly integrate other iPhone 6s features such as support for Live Photos as well as NFC to enable the Apple Pay option.

Apple's Infinite Loop event happens on March 21 and will reportedly see the launch of the 4-inch iPhone SE, along with a 9.7-inch iPad Pro and a new Apple Watch.
