'Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2' plot spoilers: Panem strikes back in new trailer

"Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" marks the end of the saga about Katniss Everdeen's fight for Panem's freedom, which has long been oppressed by the despotic, unfair governance of President Snow. In the first full-length trailer for the film, it is emphasized that warfare is the theme.

For the fourth and last time, actress Jennifer Lawrence will suit up as the Girl on Fire as she leads a revolution against The Capitol. All districts unite with one goal and in the clip, Snow has his own minefields set up to scotch all their efforts.

Snow has booby traps planted everywhere, some activating explosives or unleashing the part-human, part-lizard monsters called mutts. Others open up a flood of tar to chase away the rebels.

At the sight of the war taking shape, Finnick says, "Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games."

In the midst of the chaos, the trailer shows how war has changed Johanna, how Snow watches Panem burn and drown over a fancy meal, how Gale urges everyone to make their one shot count, and how Katniss reassures Peeta of her love with a kiss.

In describing what sets the second part of "Mockingjay" apart from the first, director Francis Lawrence told MTV News, "It's thematically very different," explaining that part one was about "the manipulation of media and propaganda."

"Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2," the director said, "is a real war movie. Very quickly, we're getting out from the confines of District 13 and back out into the rest of Panem, including the Capitol. It's a very different kind of landscape."

In a separate interview with Entertainment Weekly, F. Lawrence said that fans of the popular film franchise and Suzanne Collins' books on which the movies are based will be satisfied with how the highly-anticipated, action-packed ending will turn out.

"Anyone who loves the end of the book will love the end of the movie," the director said.

"Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2" will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
