Inching closer to its launch date, the HTC 10 continues to be teased by its maker, which recently lauded the upcoming flagship's "world-class cameras."

In a new tweet, HTC hinted that the upcoming flagship will feature "World First, World Class, Front and Back. You'll see."

Observers differ on how HTC will present the 10's cameras when it launches next month. According to TechRadar, although the company says that their cameras will have a "front and back" setup, the tease may also refer to a dual-cam setup on the HTC 10, with the assembly similar to how the shooter on the previous One M8 flagship was set up. Although the iteration features a "dual-cam" setup, only one of the lenses is unlocked for image capture, while the other one measures scene and image depth.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena says that although the new cameras will bear similarities with previous setups, there will be improvements in the assembly to make them "world-class." It is rumored that for the upcoming flagship, HTC is bringing back its UltraPixel camera, but instead of a 4MP assembly found in the One M7 and One M8, the HTC 10 will feature a 12MP UltraPixel main shooter.

It is unclear if the upcoming flagship will also feature an UltraPixel camera as its selfie shooter.

Although it seems confirmed that the HTC 10 will indeed launch next month, HTC is keeping silent on details about the iteration and only posts hints and teasers for the new flagship. However, speculations continue to float, and the rumors build up the HTC 10 to be one of the top-tier smartphones to beat this year. Aside from "world-class cameras," the HTC 10 is rumored to come out with a 5.1-inch display with Quad HD resolution, a Snapdragon 820 processor, and at least 4 GB of RAM.
