Scott Cawthon seems to be doing everything he can to make up for the issue that got his latest game, "Five Nights at Freddy's World," pulled off Steam and then re-released. According to a teaser, a second update will come out for the title soon. Meanwhile, some observers are already speculating that Cawthon may also be cooking up a follow-up to the game.

On the official website of "Five Nights at Freddy's," the image banner on the homepage features all of the available characters in the game, with the tag "Update 2 coming soon," in the bottom. Although there is no specified date yet, this confirms that Cawthon is hard at work improving his current game.

Meanwhile, although the banner image also did not hint at how the new update will improve and affect the game, the IndieDB page for Scott Cawthon may have inadvertently confirmed some details about the upcoming update. It can be seen in the new images uploaded on the website that the character selection screen for "Five Nights at Freddy's World" has been improved, and it also looks as if it has been expanded, an additional bottom row already revealed.

According to Design & Trend, some of the new additions include versions of Chica and Golden Bonnie, as well as playable characters of Scott Cawthon himself plus the Purple Man. Other characters from Cawthon's earlier games are also represented in the character roster.

The industry follower also mentioned that while Cawthon is busy updating his current game, the developer may already be considering a follow-up, or at least another spin-off title in his "Five Nights at Freddy's" series. Cawthon's personal website has a new image banner, with 17 vertical lines and a grey theme. The report stated that while this is not a clear indication of anything, fans who saved the image banner will see that the image is named "project.jpg," which may hint at what Cawthon is currently focused on.
