Bethesda's post-apocalyptic action-adventure video game "Fallout 4" seems to be on everyone's radar as of late thanks to a mysterious new listing that was found on the game's Steam database page. The game, of course, has already received its final downloadable content (DLC) expansion pack — "Nuka World" — which means that the listing could either be a brand new DLC expansion pack or perhaps a new feature that could see the game being ported to virtual reality.

The listing can still be seen on the game's Steam database page under its DLC tab. The listing itself simply reads, "SteamDB unknown app 540810." Bethesda themselves have not really announced anything new for "Fallout 4," which is why speculations and rumors have been running rampant since the listing was first spotted.

An exchange had recently occurred on Twitter about the mysterious listing when a fan had asked Bethesda's own Pete Hines about it. Hines confirmed that they actually still had no plans of releasing a new DLC for "Fallout 4" anytime soon and that "Nuka World" was the final DLC for the game.

Hines also confirmed that they were well aware of the listing on the Steam database, but when the fan had pushed Hines to talk about the mysterious listing, Bethesda's VP suddenly went quiet.

As of the moment, fans have speculated that Bethesda may have something big planned for the game and that it could be the game's possible VR component. The company's executive producer and game director — Todd Howard — had previously mentioned that a VR version of "Fallout 4" was going to be coming very soon.

Unfortunately, no specific timeline was given on when that was going to be happening.

This has led to numerous speculation reports about the exact date when the VR mode of the game would be coming out. After the listing was spotted, however, more and more reports are now claiming that the game's VR version may be coming sooner rather than later.
