A steamy episode is up ahead in the next installment of "Devious Maids" season 4.

In the previous episode, new girl Dani Mercado (Sol Rodriguez) was almost stopped by her mother Josefina (Elizabeth Rodriguez) from pursuing her dream of being a successful singer in Hollywood. But her cousin Carmen Luna (Roselyn Sanchez) tried to meddle in the mother-daughter argument.

In the middle of their heated conversation, Carmen suddenly dropped an unexpected information that she was Dani's real mother, and she had to give her up for adoption because of her own dream of being a star. The truth did not sit well with Dani, and she told both her mom and Carmen that she wants them to stay away from her.

For the upcoming episode, titled "A Time to Spill," Dani will turn to Jesse Morgan (Nathan Owens) for comfort. But will Carmen let her daughter cut her out of her life completely?

Since Jesse is already seeing Dani, this means that it will be more impossible for him and Marisol Suarez (Ana Ortiz) to get back together.

Meanwhile, viewers of the show were startled to see Zoila Diaz (Judy Reyes) and Adrian Powell (Tom Irwin) together. Based on the trailer, Zoila's friends are not fond of the idea of the unlikely pairing. But Zoila would be using the opportunity to make Kyle (Ryan McPartlin) jealous. Will this also cause a problem between Zoila and Adrian's ex Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky)?

The official synopsis for the episode reads:

"Rosie puts herself at risk in an attempt to prove Spence's innocence; Danni seeks comfort from Jesse while avoiding Carmen; Marisol asks for Evelyn's help after Peter (James Denton) invites her to a gala; and Zoila tries to make Kyle jealous. Meanwhile, Genevieve (Susan Lucci) and Fabian's (Christopher Hanke) relationship takes an unexpected turn."

The fifth episode of "Devious Maids" season 4 is slated to air on Monday, July 4, on Lifetime.
