'Castle' season 7 cast spoilers: Chad Collins from 'Once Upon A Time' to make guest appearance

"Once Upon A Time" alumnus Chad Collins will appear as a guest star in the next season of "Castle". He is set to appear in an episode entitled "Clear & Present Danger".

According to reports, Chad Collins will play the role of Tom Talmadge who is an entrepreneur of a start-up tech company who encountered mysterious circumstances. His appearance in the show was confirmed in a tweet posted by the actor that says, "Had a blast shooting @Castle_ABC today. Thx for being hilarious scene padnahs @NathanFillion and @Stana_Katic. I shall do succubi research."

Meanwhile, Rick Castle's bride-to-be Kate Beckett will try to get to the bottom of her fiancé's accident that almost cost his life and halted their marriage. Kate will do some investigation on her own to find out who was behind the accident as she thinks that it was planned, according to Show runner David Amman and fellow executive producer Andrew Marlowe.

In the final episode of the previous season, Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) got into a car accident on his way to his wedding with Kate Beckett (Stana Katic). Although Rick survives, the marriage of the two has to be postponed.

"She's committed to getting to the bottom of what happened with Castle. That's really her focus and her mission. She's going to do that, and she's going to take that as far as she can go to get answers. That's what she's focused on," Amann told Give Me My Remote.

However, the executive producer of the show also confirmed that Kate's investigation will not be the central theme of the show but it will take a few episodes that focus on Kate's personal detective work. On the other hand, Rick Castle will be fine after the car crash and will recover. The reports further speculated that Bracken and 3XK were behind the fatal car accident.

The first episode of "Castle" season 7 will pick up where it left off and returns to ABC every Monday at 10 PM starting September 29.
