"Reckoning" DLC for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is scheduled to arrive on Aug. 4.

News of the official release date came directly from the game's publisher, Activision Publishing, Inc.

"Reckoning" will also be the fourth and final add-on that is scheduled for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare."

Included in "Reckoning" are four new multiplayer maps for players to try out, according to PC Gamer.

First off the four new maps is Fracture. This new map places players inside an arctic excavation site, but what's most notable about this playing field is the timed event that involves a sheet of ice cracking, causing the layout of Fracture to dramatically change.

Next up on the list is Overload, and this new map takes players to the streets of New Baghdad. Ranged combat will prove to be the way to go in this new area, and players can even cause additional damage by setting their sights on destroying some lamps.

The next new playing field is Quarantine. This new map situates players on an isolated island that simultaneously serves as a biological testing center. Players can unlock a special missile strike for this map upon reaching a specific scorestreak.

Last of the four new maps is Swarm. In Swarm, players will find themselves engaged in close combat as they attempt to navigate the narrow passages of Seoul, South Korea.

In addition to four new maps, "Reckoning" will also bring the final episode of Exo Zombies Mode to "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," according to Polygon. The final episode, entitled "Descent," will feature Jon Bernthal, Bruce Campbell, John Malkovich, Rose McGowan and Bill Paxton.

"Reckoning" may be purchased on its own for $14.99. The said DLC is already part of the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" season pass.

"Reckoning" will first be made available for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Aug. 4. It will be released to other platforms later on.
