"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" recently opened in Japan to fans' overwhelming enthusiasm, easily becoming the most successful movie in the entire franchise. Just three days in theaters, the film starring Naruto's equally confident son already raked in a whopping $5.46 million. 

The anime flick is expected to garner more, allowing it to surpass its predecessor, "The Last: Naruto the Movie," which scooped $16 million throughout the duration of its screening in December last year.

Just recently, another preview of the movie showing Boruto attacking Shikadai with gentle fist style was released. By the end of the exciting clip, the aura of mystery that envelops Mitsuki condenses, making it an appropriate background to him revealing to Boruto and Sarada who his parents are. Both Boruto and Sarada appear extremely stunned. 

Those who do not want to be spoiled prior to the showing of the film must prepare for all forms of spoilers from fans who already watched it in Japan. However, for those who want to know a little more, a Twitter account named SasuSakuIND is very consistent with the leaks. 

[Spoiler Alert!] One of the biggest spoilers dropped after the anime film hit theaters is that Naruto gets stabbed by black rods as he helps his son form a massive Rasengan. There's no way of knowing if he survives. It remains as the principal mystery raised in the movie. 

Here is the synopsis of the film:

"Boruto is the son of the seventh Hokage Naruto who completely rejects his father. Behind this, he has feelings of wanting to surpass Naruto, who is respected as a hero. He ends up meeting his father's friend Sasuke, and requests to become... his apprentice!?"

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" hits theaters in the U.S. on Oct. 10.
