'Bones' season 10 spoilers: Cyndi Lauper guest stars in episode 11 "The Psychic in the Soup"

Bones Episode 10 Episode 11 "The Psychic in the Soup"

Coming back after the winter break, "Bones" has a lot to offer, and episode 11 titled "The Psychic in the Soup" seems poised to deliver. Reports from TVLine reveal that the comeback episode has a big chunk of plot and character development for fans to chew on.

The episode has a lot in store for the main cast and it marks the return of pop star icon Cyndi Lauper as guest character Avalon.

The primary focus is the return of Avalon Harmonia (Lauper) as she claims to see the late Dr. Lance Sweets. This claim angers Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) and sparks fly between the two, with Angela (Michaela Conlin) caught right in the middle of the crossfire.

That's not the only plot thread causing tension in the upcoming episode. Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) also face new obstacles as they try to hide Brennan's second pregnancy from the rest of the team. Arastoo and Camille also have their fare share of couple-trouble. Arastoo is headed back to Iran for his brother but political strife in the country puts him in prison.

"He goes back because his brother is dying," Stephen Nathan, executive producer, told TV Guide. "That will come back in a very, very major way later on in the season."

TV Line also quotes him as saying that Arastoo is "trapped in Iran as a political prisoner" and "the only way he can leave is to solve a particularly sensitive murder. And of course he can't do it without help."

The actresses in the series also gave out some hints.  Deschanel stated that the last two episodes of the season will reveal a "serial killer" that fans should anticipate, while Conlin hinted that the last episodes will feature a significant scene involving a poker game.

Directed by David Boreanaz and written by Stephen Nathan, the penultimate episode for the season titled "The Psychic in the Soup" will air this March 26. The finale, "The Teacher in the Books," airs on April 2.
