'Bloodborne' Nightmare and Collector's Editions: pre-order in Europe, final release dates revealed

PlayStation gamers received an early gift from Sony days before the beginning of the holidays. 

Last weekend, the company responsible for the PlayStation gaming consoles announced that a "Bloodborne" Collector's Edition as well as a Nightmare Edition will be made available for the European market soon, and it will come with a series of pre-order bonuses. 

According to reports, the "Bloodborne" Collector's Edition contains similar items found in the North American pre-order release that were available through Amazon. It includes items like a steelbook game case, a digital soundtrack, as well as an art book. The European price for this edition costs €79.99. 

Meanwhile, the more expensive but highly anticipated Nightmare Edition of the PlayStation 4-exclusive online multiplayer co-op will include a variety of items, such as the much awaited "Bloodborne" PS4 game, a steelBook case, a premium art book with exclusive concept art, a digital soundtrack of the game, the exclusive "Bloodborne" gothic notebook, a handsome quill & red ink set, an exclusive "Top Hat" Messenger skin, as well as a unique bell trinket.

All these items sell for just €119.99.

"Bloodborne" is a soon-to-be released video game developed by From Software for Sony Computer Entertainment. Since it will be released by Sony, it will only be available for gamers who own the next-generation gaming console from the Japanese gaming and tech giant.

The single-player computer game is set in a fictional gothic city called Y'harnam, which is known for keeping a potent medicine that can cure diseases that attracts pilgrims looking for medical cure for various illnesses. The truth is, the place is actually plagued with a terrible disease that turned all of the residents into monsters.

A player of the game acts as one of the tourists who discovers that there are ruthless creatures in the city, and their mission is to avoid all monsters in order to win the game.

"Bloodborne" is expected to come out on March 24, 2015 in the U.S. while it will be released on March 25 in other European countries except the U.K. where it will be released on March 27. The Japanese market will get the game on March 26.
