BET invites aspiring gospel stars to submit to the "Your Dream Is Out There" Gospel Sensation Competition, sponsored by American Family Insurance.

The top 10 contestants will move on to a live competition in Atlanta, and the grand prize winner will perform during the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration event next year.

Singers aged 18 years or older can register on the BET site, and submit a video between 30 and 90 seconds in length. The song choices are: "Blessed Assurance," "Holy, Holy, Holy," "How Great Thou Art," "It Is Well," or "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."

After online submissions close, the general public will have seven days to vote on their favourite contestants, and the pool will be narrowed to 10 people. Those lucky 10 move on to the semi-finals – the "Your Dream Is Out There" Gospel Sensation Competition in Atlanta.

A panel of yet unannounced judges will select one grand prize winner based on their inspirational quality, quality of presentation, originality and creativity, and entertainment value.

That winner will perform at the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, and receive roundtrip airfare for four to Phoenix, four tickets to the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, four tickets to Super Bowl XLIX, four tickets to the 2015 Taste of the NFL, four tickets to the NFL Experience, hotel accommodations for four, ground transportation, and the opportunity to have a Dream Mentor Day with hit gospel producer and singer J Moss in Detroit.

The approximate retail value of the grand prize package is $25,000.

Submissions close on December 14 at 6pm EST, and voting begins the next day at 6pm EST. The entry form and full list of contest rules can be found on BET.
