After "Justice League: Throne of Atlantis," the latest DC Universe original that will be released is titled "Batman vs. Robin." The animated movie will feature a rich cast, combining similar voices with new ones. For starters, Jason O'Mara, who voiced the Caped Crusader in "Justice League: War" and "Son of Batman" will be returning to voice the Dark Knight in the upcoming film. 

"Batman vs. Robin" is going to be the sequel to "Son of Batman" and will pick up where the film ended. In addition, Stuart Allan will reprise his voice acting role as Damian Wayne / Robin, the illegitimate child of Batman and Talia al Ghul, who is the daughter of the iconic Ra's al Ghul. Nightwing / Richardson Dick Grayson, who was also the first Robin, will be acted by Sean Maher. David McCallum will be providing his voice talents for Alfred Pennyworth.

While "Son of Batman" is the prequel of the upcoming movie, the creation of "Batman vs. Robin" took inspiration from the popular comics storyline, "Batman: The Court of Owls." The synopsis of the plot revolves around a secret society that has been performing clandestine operations during the early days of Gotham City that involve kidnapping children and raising them to become assassins. 

The "Batman: The Court of Owls" comics storyline was written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Greg Capullo.

New voice talents will include Jeremy Sisto who plays Talon, the Court's most proficient assassin and a worthy adversary of Batman. Kevin Conroy, who has been providing his voice talents for Batman for the past 21 years, is expected to provide a cameo and will voice Thomas Wayne, the father of Bruce Wayne. 

"Batman vs. Robin" is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film is expected to be released this spring and will be premiering on April 3 at WonderCon. The exclusive trailer of the film can viewed from here.
