Maybe Bruce Wayne and Ben Affleck have something in common.

In an interview with The Sunday Times while promoting his new movie "Gone Girl," Affleck talked about his upcoming role as a DC superhero.

The actor said that he and Batman seem to share a common trait, which is anger.

When asked about the importance of getting the right emotion to accurately play the role of a particular character, Affleck answered, "I think it's a necessity, historically, in the tradition of these films, For me, anger is so deeply buried and contained that when it does kind of come out, it comes out in stronger bursts."

The award-winning actor also said that he is normally polite, respectful, and very patient – until his rage begins to emerge. He can then have trouble controlling his emotions.

Affleck will play the role of the Caped Crusader in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film, together with an all-star cast that includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

On the other hand, Benedict Cumberbatch is also reported to join the stellar roster of actors in the movie adaptation of the epic DC Comics. Yet the "Sherlock" actor still refuses to verify if he is, indeed, part of the production.

In a recent chat with E! News, Cumberbatch gave vague answers when asked whether he will play the role of Martian Manhunter or Brainiac in the Batman versus Superman film or the next installment of the "Justice League" franchise.

"I think Batman vs. Superman is going to happen. It's a film that's being made," Cumberbatch jokingly stated. "I'm not at liberty to say whether I'm Batman or Superman."

But when asked about the Justice League film, the British actor simply said, "'Justice League,' yeah. Maybe. Let the rumor mill run."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled for release on March 25, 2016.
