It appears that the Duggars' lives will be featured once again on TV as TLC has given the family a chance to reappear — but without Josh Duggar in sight this time.

The Duggar clan have been surrounded by numerous controversies, mainly caused by Josh; but this time, they're set to make a positive comeback.

According to a report from Fox News, TLC will begin a new TV special featuring the lives of Duggar sisters, Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald, and their husbands Derick and Ben, respectively.

A spin-off is reportedly in the works, and it will give focus on the two sisters' social media activities, which are still heavily publicized. This and the fact that the two have a strong fan base prompted the network to give another chance to a Duggar series.

Announced Thursday, the series will reportedly begin production soon. Around two or three series are currently planned and one of these is expected to be released by the end of 2015.

The series has yet to be given a title, but what fans can expect is to see more of 24-year-old Jill and husband Derick, together with their little boy Israel David, as they embark on their missionary work in El Salvador.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Jessa and husband Ben will also be featured and it will mostly be about their life as expecting parents who will soon welcome their first child come Nov. 1.

More importantly, Josh will not be featured in the planned series.

The spin-off will also reportedly feature Dillard matriarch and patriarch, Michelle and Jim Bob, as they visit their daughters and welcome new family plans.

Meanwhile, Jessa expressed her excitement over getting another shot at a TLC special, according to a report from Entertainment Tonight.

Jessa announced to fans her comeback at the Southern Women's Show held in Orlando, Florida last Saturday and she described the opportunity as something that's "gonna be great."
