XXX Church doesn't judge — not even those who work in the porn industry

XXX Church, an online ministry dedicated to helping people who suffer from porn and sex addiction, does not like to judge—not even those who work in the porn industry.

In fact, one of the first things it did as a ministry was go to a porn convention to better understand the people who work there. "We didn't show up with posters and megaphones to shout at people – no, we went inside to meet people, to listen to [their stories], and show [them] that Jesus cares about [them]. Simple as that," it shares on its website.

As members of the ministry listened to their stories and forged friendships, the one thing they realised is that majority who work in the porn industry did not really seek out that profession. They had other choices before ending up there.

At the same time, XXX Church says that it doesn't "judge or criticise anyone for choosing this line of work as a career."

However, for those who want out of the industry, it can offer some help.

"There are lots of reasons to move on from working in the porn or sex industry, and if you're ready to do that, we are more than willing to journey with you, to walk alongside you as you chase after other dreams or goals in your life," it says.

XXX Church actually has several members on their team who were once porn industry workers, too. They can serve as real-life inspirations for people who feel trapped by the industry. "They understand the business and all its realities; they know what it takes to move on," it shares.

But for those who are not yet ready to leave, the online ministry assures them that it's fine as well. "We are still willing to walk with you in this journey...no strings attached. We mean that. Everyone needs to be encouraged and experience the unconditional love of Jesus regardless of where they are in life," it says.
