Monolith, along with Nintendo, dropped a new trailer for the upcoming "Xenoblade Chronicles 2." The action role-playing video game has promised to reveal a striking and remarkable world, and it can evidently be seen in the latest teaser.

The video game company has revealed a number of Japanese trailers for the game. However, the new clip focuses mostly on the title's lead characters, its story, and intense battles. This is also the first time that fans are introduced to the weaponized life-form characters called Blades.

"Xenoblade Chronicles 2" trailer also gives a glimpse to the kind of gameplay it has. Digging deep to the title's main story, it shows the different storylines its characters are about to feature. Also, the world of Alrest, which is being swarmed by a sea of clouds, is revealed.

The teaser starts with Rex, who gets surprisingly killed by Jin, the leader of Torna. In the different world, he meets a special Blade named Pyra, who gives half of her life force to him so he will be revived. However, she asks Rex to bring to Elysium. This is a place considered a myth by some humans, but a home for Pyra.

Evidently, "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" trailer shows how stunning the game will be. It reveals Rex's tragic start and how his story will evolve. As the title progresses, his journey becomes adventurous, lethal, but definitely hopeful. The characters are also styled with a classic touch, thus fans will have an idea what kind of gameplay awaits them.

The teaser, too, features a number of in-game weapons and reveals the difference between the blades and their enemies called drivers. There will also be different nemesis that Rex and his team have to face to help Pyra reach Elysium. Aside from helping others, the game also shows the relationship among this group of friends.

"Xenoblade Chronicles 2" is set to be released on Friday, Dec. 1, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
