Xbox Live Games with Gold March 2015 free games: Rayman Legends, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite

After days of anticipation, the list of the free games for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles to be offered to Xbox Live Games with Gold members for the month of March is finally unveiled. Major Nelson announced the titles of the game, which players can start downloading as soon as they are featured in the subscription-based website.

One of the free games that will be up for grabs in the coming month is Ubisoft's platform game "Rayman Legends." Originally announced as an exclusive Wii U game back in 2013, the fifth installment from the "Rayman" series is finally available for other platforms like the Xbox One.

The game takes on the gameplay style of its predecessor called the "Rayman Origins," where up to four players have to finish their way in the game simultaneously. Originally sold for $39.99, Xbox One players can start downloading it for free starting March 1.

For Xbox 360 owners, the best-selling action-adventure game "Tomb Raider" is up for grabs until March 15. Initially released in 1996 by Core Design and Eidos Interactive, the action-packed game follows the adventures of British archaeologist Lara Croft as she looks for ancient treasures in different parts of the world. The game is originally sold for $19.99, but downloading it again for free will be a good opportunity for players to relive Lara Croft's adventures before the release of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" in Xbox One in the later part of the year.

Finally, "BioShock Infinite" will be offered for free for Xbox Live with Gold subscribers beginning March 16 up to March 31. The $29.99 title from Irrational Games is a first-person shooter game and is the third installment in the hit "BioShock" series. Players should assume the role of the game's protagonist Booker DeWitt in order to save a captive female named Elizabeth and face the warring factions in the city of Columbia in 1912.
