Xbox Live Games with Gold March 2015 free games list: 'Rayman Legends,' 'Tomb Raider' and 'Bioshock: Infinite'

A new month has unfurled and Xbox Live with Gold members know what that means — a fresh host of free games to get a load of! Microsoft has revealed the titles subscribers of the service can enjoy free of charge, and the pack is a mix of classic and awesome.

This March, Xbox One owners will be awoken from a century of nightmares and are tasked to rescue the abducted princesses from the clutches of the dark teensies and get their beloved land to safety.

Ubisoft's "Rayman Legends," which was released last year to current-gen consoles, can be downloaded for free for the whole month of March. That leaves $39.99 to share around. Plus, the platformer is critically acclaimed and has enjoyed gracious reviews. Not to mention, the franchise itself is a phenomenon so this one is a real score.

And as usual, there are two titles for subscribers who get their gaming fix from a good old Xbox 360. During the first half of March, gamers can engage in extreme adventures by discovering tombs, unearthing environmental puzzles and epic combat with "Tomb Raider," the 2013 action-adventure video game rebooted by Square Enix.

Without the need to shell out $19.99, gamers can backtrack to how a young woman turned into an intimidating warrior known as Lara Croft, and at the same time uncover the secrets of a mysterious island in which she is trapped. Games with Gold members have until March 15 to get the title.

After invigorating action, Xbox 360 owners can go for another quest, this time as a threatened U.S. Cavalry veteran-turned-hired gun Booker DeWitt in "Bioshock: Infinite." Microsoft is giving away the award-winning title that is usually priced at $29.99 from March 16 to 31.

With this, players can facilitate the rescue of a girl named Elizabeth locked up in a floating island in Colombia since childhood. The title will send players up in the air and offer them a wealth of weaponry and a dose of sinister secrets and extreme stunts.

As part of the treats for Xbox 360 players, Major Nelson announced that Xbox Live Gold Members can already assemble a library of Xbox One games on their last-gen console with the Games with Gold program even without an Xbox One ready. From the Xbox 360 console, gamers can navigate to the special Games With Gold section from the link on the home page of the console and "purchase" it. For more information, watch the video below.
