For WWE fans, there is one thing obvious right now and that is the fact that the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is pushing for Nikki Bella to break the longest reign as WWE Divas Champion, which previously belonged to AJ Lee.

With AJ Lee long gone, Nikki's matches have been somehow anticipated. Until she reaches the magic number of 295 days, it seems likely that she will keep on winning. But is this the real plan of the WWE or is there some other person influencing it?

Rumors recently cropped up that boyfriend John Cena has a hand in Nikki's title stay. The word came out after it was believed that the WWE had unconfirmed plans to make Charlotte champion when she was elevated to the main roster. And as everyone knows, that never happened; and now, some folks are pointing their fingers at Cena.

The thing is, this wasn't reportedly the first time that Cena stood up for his girl. So is Cena influencing Nikki's title reign?

Such is truly hard to pin on Cena who has been at the top and currently acknowledged as the face of the WWE. But seeing how the WWE seems to be bent on erasing the name of AJ Lee in the record books, injecting Cena to the whole fracas does become pretty much surprising.

For someone who didn't really win the title competitively, it seems a bit premature to link it to Cena. Although Nikki has shown improvement in skills and has been someone who has been great (PR-wise), her reign may not be because Cena alone wants it.

While Cena would want his girl to be happy, the fact remains that it is not surprising to see Nikki having the second longest reign and that she will be new record holder at some point.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out the plan of the WWE for the Divas title, tying up with issues connected to AJ Lee and her hubby CM Punk who do not exactly have the sweetest of relationships as everyone knows.

From the looks of it, interested onlookers may be barking at the wrong tree.
