Being a Christian family does not make the Robertsons from "Duck Dynasty" perfect. In fact, Willie and Korie Robertson revealed in their new book "Strong and Kind" that they have had crazy fights and struggles with parenthood just like any other couple.

Radar Online said Willie and Korie's many fights began right after they got married in 1992. They fought so much that they did not experience the honeymoon stage most newlyweds experienced.

"I'll admit that Korie and I struggled during our first year of marriage," Willie confessed. "I would fly off the handle for the simplest things."

Things did not get easier for the couple when they adopted Rebecca Lo from Taiwan back in August 2004 when she was already 16 years old. Rebecca did not transition easily into their home, and they found a hard time adjusting to the custom she grew up with as well.

"She brought with her some treats from Taiwan: a 1,000-year-old egg that tasted exactly how you imagine it would taste, dried fish sticks that she ate out of the bag like popcorn and smelled worse than you can imagine," Korie shared.

After Rebecca, Willie and Korie started having children of their own, and by the time they got four, Korie felt extremely overwhelmed that there were days that she just lost her cool.

One such instance was when Sadie was acting up in the backseat while Korie was driving. She turned around to punish Sadie and promptly got pulled over by a cop. "My eyes were brimming with tears as I told them I was sorry I had been swerving," said Korie. "I felt totally outnumbered."

Willie and Korie really bit off more than they can chew when they adopted Willie Jr., known in their family as "Lil Will" only to get pregnant with daughter Bella the following month.

"I will admit that life was crazy for a couple of years," said Korie. "Will wasn't walking yet when Bella was born, so I constantly had a baby on each hip...Those two were such a handful that we nicknamed them Destructo 1 and Destructo 2."
