UK's first Gospel Music Awards to celebrate Christian musicians

|PIC2|The UK's first ever Gospel Music Awards will celebrate homegrown talent when it takes place in London next month.

The awards are being held in appreciation and recognition of hard working Christians musicians in the UK.

The event will also showcase the diverse talent of the UK gospel music scene when it takes place at the Hilton Metropole in London on 5 December.
The format of

The awards are being put together by the London-based church and ministry Father's House and the people behind Taste of Paradise, a quarterly Christian gospel concert.

They want the awards to become a permanent fixture in the annual Christian events calendar.

The nominees for Best Male are: GuvnaB, Faith Child, Victizzle, Jahaziel, Triple O, Sonnie Badu, Mark Beswick and Sammy G.

The nominees for Best Female are: Chenoa, Adelaide McKenzie, Michaela the Poet and Yolanda Brown.

The nominees for Best International Artist are: Deitrick Haddon, CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Ki Ki Sheard, Sean Simmonds, Lecrae and Da Truth.

Artists performing on the night include Commission, Rachel Kerr, Triple O, DTWG
(Desire to Worship God), Simply Andy, Michaela the Poet, Tunday, Jayess,
Roger Samuels, Triple O, GP, Pressha J, Forever Christ, and many others.
