Two New Protestant Churches built in Beijing

CHINA--- China plans to build two new Protestant churches in Beijing, which is the first time in Beijing since 1949.

According to the report of China Daily in early February, Hou Xiao-Ming, who is from Beijing bureau of religious affairs, said two churches would be built at Chaoyang District and Fengtai District in Southwest Beijing. He also stated that the construction of the churches should be started by last November and finished at last Christmas. These two churches will be of 1,500 square meters.

Nacang, who is a commissar of Beijing Political Consultative Conference, proposed the building of new holy temples.
