Transformers 5 movie to launch in 2016?

Speculations surrounding the movie release of Transformers 5 insist that the second part of the trilogy is set for a 2016 showing. However, no specific release date has been confirmed regarding the upcoming film.

Even without any confirmation from the makers of the science fiction action film, Transformers 5 has already been listed as one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2016.

However, Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, refuted these rumors. He insisted that the timeframe is simply not feasible.

"It's an exhausting process to make these movies. The scale of them is so enormous. It really does tax everybody and our tendency is to finish one at a time, recover, and then begin talking. And we will do the same thing this time," he explained in an interview with Screen Rant.

In another interview with Digital Spy, Bonaventura reiterated, "We don't have a date. We can hardly handle doing one movie at a time to think about the next one."

"2016 sounds a little rushed to me, but we will see," the producer added.

Fans are also speculating on the possible return of Shia LeBouf and Megan Fox. However, both actors still have not confirmed the authenticity of this claim.

These rumors have gained even more leverage as Transformers 4: The Age of Extinction has been recognized as the first film to reach the $1 billion mark this year.

According to Box Office Mojo's calculations, the recent Michael Bay installment of this series was the first to achieve this staggering number in the global box office.

Although a tremendous success with respect to the number of moviegoers it attracted, Transformers 4 appeared to have fallen short of the expectations of some of its critics.

Generally, critics blasted Bay's seemingly endless Transformers action-toy film franchise.

Impervious to these criticisms, Bay explicitly expressed his plan to continue the storyline until the sixth film.
