True to the rumors, Activision announced key details on "The Division" at the E3, including the roll-out of the game's next expansion content.

Aside from the presentation of the gameplay reveal, the announcement has also been posted on the Ubisoft blog. The developer highlighted that the new DLC is expansion content similar in style and design, features, and gameplay as with the previous free updates. "As with the free Incursions and Conflict updates, Underground brings a host of new features and loot, beginning with the expansion's eponymous mode, which puts Agents into subways, tunnels, and sewers generated with random layouts," the announcement stated. It is also confirmed that a new "Incursion" mission, dubbed as Dragon's Nest," will go live with the update.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that the new "Underground" DLC will launch later this month. However, the June 28 release is a timed exclusivity only for Xbox One and PC players. On the other hand, PlayStation 4 players will get the chance to experience "The Division: Underground" on Aug. 2.

The post also adds that aside from the roll-out of the new DLC pack, players will get a new patch on June 28 on the Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. The all-platforms update will unlock "Challenge" missions for the Hudson Yard and Queen's Tunnel areas, as well as "Heroic" mode for "Falcon Lost," "Clear Sky," and all missions that has an active "Challenge" difficulty setting.

"Underground" is already the third major DLC for "Tom Clancy's The Division." However, the first two, "Incursions" and "Conflict," are free updates, making the third one the first paid DLC to roll out for the game. Ubisoft has already confirmed that other paid DLCs packs are already in the pipeline, with at least two more confirmed to come out on schedule.
