Stu G and One Sonic Society gear up for EP release

One Sonic Society - it’s a name that implies uniqueness, creativity, unity and community.

It’s the perfect moniker for a collective of accomplished musicians and writers united with a shared vision to serve the church by offering effective worship music to pastors around the world.

This exciting new group is comprised of former Delirious members Stu G and Jon Thatcher hailing from the UK; former Hillsong United drummer/writer/producer Paul Mabury from Australia; and writer/producer Jason Ingram based in Nashville, Tenneessee.

And while the CVs of One Sonic Society founders are impressive, OSS is more than the sum of its parts. Each member is already busy with a successful career and the goal wasn’t to start another band, but to use their respective platforms for a greater good, to form a team that would create songs to be used by the church - new worship anthems
that could be embraced by believers all over the world.

“It’s been a calling on all our hearts. We’re compelled to write songs for the church. We want nothing more than to serve in this way,” says Jason Ingram.

Sonic is the second in a three-EP collection and is out in February.

One Sonic Society songs are already being sought after by well known recording artists. Forever Reign and The Greatness of Our God were recently recorded by Hillsong.

Natalie Grant added The Greatness of Our God to her Love Revolution project, even using it as her first radio single, and Forever Reign has been selected for placement on the latest WOW Worship release.
