Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Pre-Order USA: AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile release dates October 2013

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was finally unveiled to the world today at the Samsung Unpacked Episode 2 event in Berlin.

For the first time, the Galaxy Note 3 was given a warm faux leather-like cover.

Here are excerpts from Samsung's President and CEO J K Shin.

It is lighter and tougher.

We focused on how the note 3 feels in your hand. What we love most about the note is the complete big experience and better productivity. In the Note 3 you will see much more multi-tasking capabilities with the larger screen.

Samsung Knox has been deployed for security on the device. This was intitated earlier this year and now it is ready to be commercially available globally. This security gives your device the next level of protection.

We have deployed Note 3 with faster and more seamless LTE. Note 3 offers the most advanced LTE in technology - Category 4.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear, the company's first smartwatch, revealed as a companion device for the Note 3.

It allows you to receive calls. Galaxy Gear brings your smart freedom as a perfect companion to Note 3. It isn't just a device that complements Note 3. I believe it will become a new fashion icon around the world.

The Tab 10.1 has the same technological aspects of the Note 3. Free and exclusive apps will be provided for users.

Three exciting new products: Note 3, Gear, Tab 10 will be launched starting Sept. 25 worldwide. All of these products will be commercially available in October 149 countries worldwide.

The Galaxy Note 3 is also available in 3 different colors -jet black, classic white, and blush pink with up to 10 flip covers including yellow, mocha grey, mint blue, oatmeal and more. There are also six metallic colors as well. The finish is different – a whole new aesthetic, delivering a premium look and feel, including fine stitching.

Accessories are designed by Moschino and Nicholas Kirkwood.

The bezel is minimal, and the leather-like feeling on the back gives it a note-book feel.

Now that the Galaxy Note 3 has been launched, customers will be curious as to where they can pre-order the device across major U.S. carriers – Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.

When Samsung's latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S4, was unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked Episode 1 event in March 14 this year, pre-orders for AT&T customers were available on April 16, a month after its launch.

The release date for T-Mobile was on May 1.

The pre-order date for Verizon started April 25 for a release on May 30.

Pre-orders started April 17 on Sprint for an April 27 release.

As announced, U.S. carriers Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile are likely to take in orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on Sept. 25.

This means that the handsets will be arriving on store shelves in the U.S. some time in mid-October.

"This device will be available in U.S. and Japan in October. Rest of the world is later this month," said David Park of Samsung Electronics.

While nothing is set in stone we will update you with the exact pre-order dates as soon as they are announced for each network in the coming weeks.
