Prospects Conference to Explore Gifts of People with Learning Disabilities

Prospects, the Christian support charity for people with learning disabilities, will bring Christians together later in the year to explore the gifts of people with learning disabilities and what can be done to nurture these further.

The conference will take place in Solihull, Birmingham, on 20 October and follows on from Prospects' successful first national conference last year.

The keynote speaker this year will be Jonathan Lamb, International Programme Director of Langham Preaching.

The conference will run under the motto "One people, many gifts" and will feature a number of seminars exploring God's message of inclusion, as well as a Christian approach to care for people with learning disabilities.

One seminar will also explore inclusive ministry and the ways in which worship can be more accessible and interactive for those with learning disabilities.

The conference follows the huge success of Prospects' 'Walk with a Purpose' sponsored walk earlier in July to raise awareness and funds for Prospects.
