Oscars Official

Late in January, Oscars producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin gave out the names of the first batch of presenters for the upcoming 88th Academy Awards, which include Ryan Gosling and Benicio del Toro. On Monday, more stars were added to the list.

The new actors are past winners and nominees of the big event. Oscar winner for Best Actress, Julianne Moore, joins the list of presenters; 2015 Best supporting actor J.K. Simmons and 2014 Best Supporting Actor Jared Leto were also included. These stars join "The Big Short's" Steve Carell; actresses Reese Witherspoon and Olivia Munn; actors Jason Segel, Andy Serkis, and Byung-hun Lee; music producer Quincy Jones; "Suicide Squad's" Margot Robbie; "Quantico's" Priyanka Chopra; and "Scandal's" Kerry Washington.

Meanwhile, the nominees for the major awards have already been announced. "The Big Short," "Bridge of Spies," "Brooklyn," "Mad Max: Fury Road," "The Martian," "The Revenant," "Room" and "Spotlight" are all nominated for Best Picture.

Cate Blanchett, Brie Larson, Charlotte Rampling, Jennifer Lawrence, and Saoirse Ronan are all nominated for Best Actress. Over to the Best Actor category, the nominees are Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Fassbender, and Eddie Redmayne

Oscars Official also highlighted that "The Revenant" received a total of 12 nominations, while "Mad Max: Fury Road" received 10. For a complete list of 2016 Oscar nominees, click here.

Predictions for Best Actor and Best Actress winners are varied, but most outlets speculate that DiCaprio will win the Best Actor category. The "The Revenant" actor won the recently concluded Golden Globe Awards, but will he continue his win? Larson is also speculated to bag this year's award for Best Actress for her role in "Room."

Catch the Oscars on Oscar Sunday hosted by Chris Rock on ABC on Feb. 28. Red carpet will start at 7 p.m. EST and the awards ceremony will kick off at 8:30 p.m. EST.
