OnePlus has released its new flagship phone, OnePlus 5T. Although it has only been five months since the launch of the OnePlus 5, the 5T delivers a lot of improvements compared to its predecessor, including a new design with a taller screen, a new fingerprint sensor, and an amped up speed.

The display is the most obvious improvement on the OnePlus 5T. Like many other smartphones, it features smaller bezels than its predecessor, allowing the screen to cover a larger area.

The new OLED display sports a 1080 by 2160 pixel resolution and an 18:9 display ratio. This allows the 5T to offer more display without making the phone harder to hold.

The screen is a Samsung panel, which is the same as the screens in today's top tier flagship phones. It offers great display complete with good uniformity and brightness.

The OnePlus 5T is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and can carry up to 8 GB of RAM. When it comes to multitasking, playing graphics intensive games, or simply browsing the web, the new smartphone operates in blazing fast speed and is said to be "one of the fastest phones around."

The speed at which the OnePlus 5T operates can rival that of more expensive flagship phones like Google Pixel 2 and even Apple's most modern iPhone, iPhone X.

The fingerprint sensors of OnePlus phones have always been ahead of the curve, even when compared to the more expensive outings of mobile phone titans. The OnePlus 5T makes use of this advantage, and even though sensor is placed at the back of the phone, its location seems perfect for unlocking the phone after picking it up. It is placed at just the right height for it to be used without exerting much effort to reach it.

The OnePlus 5T is available for $499, which is a very affordable price considering its specifications and features.
