Nokia Lumia 1520 release date Nov. 22: Free $40 flipcover, $50 app card via Microsoft preorder

Nokia Lumia 1520, the first Windows phablet device, is available for preorders exclusively on America's AT&T network.

AT&T is selling the device for $199 with a contract and will officially launch on November 22. It is also available for $584 with AT&T's month-to-month plan.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 sports a 6-inch 1080p HD display, a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, and a massive 20-megapixel camera. It is available in four colors – black, white, red, and yellow.

The Corning Gorilla Glass 2 display is 1920x1080p with 368 pixels per inch. The camera comes with optical image stabilization, autofocus, dual LED flash and Zeiss optics.

The phone has 16GB of storage, but is expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card. A 32GB handset is expected in the future.

However, if you want freebies with your Nokia Lumia 1520, make sure you preorder from Microsoft before Nov. 22, where you will receive a $20 app card by Nokia, $50 Microsoft app card and a flip cover worth $40. A free download of 'Halo: Spartan Assault' is also available.

Nokia's first phablet was first unveiled at a press event in Abu Dhabi last month.

AT&T's senior vice president of devices Jeff Bradley stated: "The Lumia 1520 is the first Windows Phone on the market with a 6-inch 1080p full HD screen. The large screen and extra real estate not only accommodate more Live Tiles, but also give you more room to view photos and videos on leading social networking apps or presentations on PowerPoint."
