Eighty people committed their life to Christ in Moron, Mongolia, after hearing the Gospel during a three-day visit by an evangelistic team from Ulaanbaatar Baptist Church.

Pilot Juuso Koponen flew the 15-member team from Ulaanbaatar to Moron. As well as sharing the Gospel with 150 people during their seminar times, the team showed a practical outworking of their faith by offering medical assistance and free haircuts. They were also able to spend quality time in fellowship with the new believers before returning to Ulaanbaatar with Juuso.

Teams from Ulaanbaatar Baptist Church regularly fly with MAF (known as Blue Sky Aviation in Mongolia) to enable them to reach many different towns and villages, helping to provide support for local believers and share the Gospel with people who have never before heard of Jesus.

In Khovd, 110 people heard the Gospel during 3 days of seminars when Juuso flew from Ulaanbaatar with an evangelistic team consisting of members of Ulaanbaatar Baptist Church and of Yan Jun Church in Korea.

Many of those who attended had never before heard the Gospel and the team was overjoyed to have such a large attendance, with many making professions of faith.

They report, "We were overwhelmed with joy of Lord when we saw that they are receiving Saviour God into their hearts. Our pastor couldn't hold his thankful tears when he saw people coming to the Lord."

On another flight, members of Ulaanbaatar Baptist Church were joined by people from Darkhan Church. The team flew with Juuso to Choibalsan city where they spent three days ministering to elderly men and women. For many of the attendees, it was a surprise to learn that God was their creator and that He loves them.

The Church in Mongolia is experiencing an exciting time of numeric growth. Today, there are an estimated 50,000 Christians in Mongolia, with an annual growth in numbers of around 17 per cent, and around 450 churches.

Pastor Möjic from the Mongolian Mobile Training Centre, which also uses BSA to help in their work training church pastors and leaders, shares, "Once you have leaders in this country, God will firmly establish His Church, and His Church will bring hope and transformation to the nation."
