English Christian worship leader and artist Matt Redman has just teamed up with Guvna B in hopes of "shining some light on the dark shadows of modern day slavery," according to his Facebook page.

The lyrics of their song speak of hope, justice, and redemption for victims of human trafficking. "We'll stand for freedom, freedom/ We'll stand for justice in this world/ All of the stolen, stolen/ Never forgotten in Your heart/ These are Your sons and daughters God/ And though the darkness seems so strong/ Your fire of justice breaks the night/ We're ready to fight," he sang.

The musician earlier tweeted (@matt_redman) that he "loved collaborating with @GuvnaB on this version of 'Let My People Go.'" He also expressed hope that the song inspires people to join the fight against human trafficking.

Redman then shared a link to A21, an non-profit organisation committed to abolish modern-day slavery.

"Human trafficking fuels the growth of organised crime, undermining health, safety, security, and the basic needs of humanity. It is the fastest growing crime in the world," it warned.

A21 shared four strategies in order to combat human trafficking, and that involves prevention, protection, prosecution, and partnership.

With prevention, A21 prevents human trafficking with education and awareness. The organisation has created a curriculum that will educate potential victims of human trafficking in schools, orphanages, and universities.

With protection, they not only provide a safe environment and restoration programmes to victims, but they also support local law enforcement, FBI, and other governmental agencies in the areas of training, investigations, and data collection which they derive from their human trafficking hotlines.

Prosecution involves providing survivors with legal council, and strengthening the legal response in terms of human trafficking. Partnership consists of a united stand with fundraising supporters, governmental agencies, and community members in order to end human trafficking.
