According to speculations, although Apple will not be rolling out its new laptops at the rumored March event, fans may likely see a new MacBook Pro sooner than expected. In addition, the upcoming lineup is said to boast of much improved features, including OLED displays.

One hint that an upcoming follow-up will be released soon is that the current and previous lineups get a huge drop in prices, and this seems to be the case with the current MacBook Pro lineup. The industry follower mentioned that to date, huge deals with discounted prices for Apple's laptop line are ongoing at different retailers.

Apple Insider lists different discounted prices for some of Apple lineups currently ongoing for authorized reseller B&H Photo and Video. A timed exclusive, the 13-inch MacBook Pros released early last year currently have a $130 to $200 discount at the retailer. In addition, the late 2015 MacBook Pro model retails with up to $320 discount.

The timed exclusive event ends on Feb. 27.

Aside from the MacBook Pros, the industry follower also listed discounted prices for the iPad Pro, which may hint at an upcoming new iPad rolling out soon. This dovetails with rumors that Apple is preparing to launch the iPad Air 3 next month, to be unveiled alongside other product lineups like a refreshed Apple Watch, and the much-anticipated iPhone 5se.

Meanwhile, in addition to its release date, it is also speculated that the new MacBook Pro will be much better than its predecessor, although there will only be months in between their launches. According to DigitalTrends, one way of improving the specs of the next MacBooks will be to switch from Retina HD to OLED displays. However, the industry follower said that since the technology is fairly new, it will be much more expensive than Apple's current lineup, and may be introduced only as an optional upgrade.
