The LG G4 is reportedly set to be released before the end of this year.

For now, no specific release date has been given, but most are guessing that the device will be out by October.

The LG G4 Pro is said to possess the specs and the features that will enable it to stand as a worthy rival to the other more famous smartphone models from Samsung and Apple, according to the International Business Times Australia.

As for why the LG G4 Pro can supposedly become a close competitor of Apple and Samsung's flagship offerings, the specs are being looked at as the main reasons for why such is the case.

The LG G4 Pro is expected to come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, allowing it to execute commands quickly and efficiently. It will also reportedly have 4GB of RAM upon its release. People who will be looking to purchase the phone will also be given the option of getting a model with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.

The LG G4 Pro's cameras are also elements of the device that people can look forward to using. The phone is expected to feature a 27-megapixel rear camera that also has laser autofocus as well as optical image stabilization. It also has a not too shabby 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Upon its release, the LG G4 Pro will reportedly have a 5.8-inch IPS LCD display, and it will also be running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system (OS) right out of the gate.

One last intriguing feature supposedly to be found in the LG G4 Pro will be its metal unibody, according to iDigital Times.

With LG promising a renewed focus on their smartphones, and the company also driven to perform better in the second half of 2015, people can expect a grand unveiling for the LG G4 Pro.
