Should Christians date non-believers? Everyone has their own opinion regarding this question. While some believe think there's nothing wrong with dating non-believers, some Christians prefer not to waste their time and emotions on people who do not share the same faith.

TV host Kathie Lee Gifford is part of the latter. After the death of her husband, Gifford is open to finding love again. However, she refuses to date anyone who doesn't share the same faith.

Gifford told Access Live that she has only been on a single date since her husband, Frank, passed away on August 9, 2015. But the date didn't lead to anything because of one important reason.

"He didn't share my faith and couldn't understand why I didn't want to be with him," Gifford recalled. "I said, 'My faith isn't something I do on Sunday mornings for an hour. My faith is me, and I'm not going to share my life with somebody or even another hour of my life on a date with you if you don't share the same passion for your faith as I do."

Her decision to wait for the right guy to come along will resonate with countless Christian women who are having a tough time navigating the dating field. Gifford offered some inspiring words of encouragement to those who might be losing hope on finding love.

"Who doesn't want to find love again?" she said. "I think my probability is less, obviously. Some men are afraid of strong women. I wouldn't be interested in a man like that anyway."

She added, "If that's part of God's will for me, I'm certainly open to it. I'm not out at singles bars. I'm not online."
