It's never too late to be used by God

Billy Graham may be 94 and largely housebound but he doesn't see that as a barrier to being used by God.

The famed evangelist believes there are opportunities even in his final years on earth to live a meaningful life.

Part of the secret to finding that meaning, he tells Do Well magazine, is knowing that there is still more to do.

"Scripture is filled with examples of men and women whom God used late in life, often with great impact - men and women who refused to use old age as an excuse to ignore what God wanted them to do," he shares in the interview.

"The New Testament likewise gives numerous examples of men and women who were used of God in their old age.

"Old age may have its limitations and challenges, but in spite of them our latter years can be some of the most rewarding and fulfilling of our lives."

Naturally, Graham is aware that he is "nearing home" but rather than fearing death, the thought is a happy one for him.

He says, "I look forward to that day, not just because of the wonders I know Heaven holds in store for me and for every believe but because I know that finally the burdens and sorrows that press down upon me at this stage of my life will be over."
