The public has only just experienced the power of Apple's latest flagship handset after hitting the market earlier this month. The iPhone X has introduced a lot of firsts in the smartphone industry, including the full 3D facial recognition scanning, although tech enthusiasts always see a room for improvement. For now, the most that they can look forward to is the bigger version of the device, which is unofficially dubbed as the iPhone X Plus.

Apple has yet to reveal their plans after unveiling the iPhone X in September, but the rumors are rife that the next mobile device coming from the Cupertino-based tech giant is the current flagship's larger variant. While no one has an idea on how the iPhone X can go even bigger, a visualized render of the iPhone X Plus has surfaced recently. The concept render shows the iPhone X Plus sporting a massive 6.7-inch display.

The artist behind the iPhone X Plus concept image said that he based the increased proportions of the current iPhone X on the same ratio Apple used for the iPhone 8 Plus. To note, Apple may opt to change the ratio in increasing the screen size of the iPhone X, that is if the company decides to launch a plus-sized version of its current flagship.

Aside from the astounding screen dimensions of the iPhone X Plus, the renders show pretty much the same design as the iPhone X. The notch on top of the display is still there, a feature that some users want to be removed once Apple releases a next-gen handset. Regarding the handiness of the massive smartphone, the artist claimed that the edgeless feature of the iPhone X Plus display would make it seem to be the same size of the 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus.

Back in October, an iPhone X Plus concept render was already released by iDropNews, suggesting a 6.4-inch widescreen display with the same footprint as the original iPhone X. Meanwhile, it is also speculated that the iPhone X Plus could be one of the two iPhones to be released in 2018, sporting OLED screens. KGI Securities tech expert Ming Chi-Kuo predicted that Apple will finally make the first move next year to shift away from LCD displays.
