iOS 9 will bring better features to Apple devices.Apple Official

When there's a new iOS released, searching for ways to jailbreak the device is a common thing for many Apple users to do.

And with Apple's latest update of iOS 9.1, which was released last October 21, users are keen to know if they can already perform a jailbreak on their device.

The bad news for jailbreak fanatics is that there's no update on when famous hacking teams Pangu and TaiG will be releasing the solution, Neurogadget gathered.

However, there are rumors suggesting that the new jailbreak solution should be released before the year ends and there are other reports claiming that it might arrive in the first quarter of 2016.

The hackers also haven't issued a confirmation that an iOS 9.1 jailbreak solution is nearing its release, the outlet added.

Meanwhile, the good news is that users can hold on to a little hope as the hacking teams are known for their surprises.

When iOS 9 was launched on September, there were talks that Apple has made sure that the firmware would be difficult to breach.

But that didn't stop Pangu from finding out a jailbreak solution for iOS 9 and the updates that followed it--the iOS 9.0.1 and iOS 9.0.2.

For those who want a jailbroken iOS 9 device, it is possible with the hackers' solution, but not if the device has already been updated to 9.1. In this case, users still need to wait for the latest instructions.

The most recent jailbreakable OS is 9.0.2, which also means that once a user has already crossed over to iOS 9.1, it is impossible for them to downgrade in order to have the device breached.

In the meantime, those who want to enjoy the many benefits of a jailbroken Apple device should avoid getting the latest firmware update.

That means missing out on the changes iOS 9.1 brings, which include fresh emojis, new Messages options in Settings, Unicode 7 and 8 support, bug fixes and compatibility updates.
