HTC One M9 rumors: 'Hima' boasts Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI?

Another reliable tipster confirmed that the HTC One M9 "Hima" will be released in March boasting the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS overlaced with the HTC Sense 7 user interface.

According to ROM developer LlabTooFeR, who previously revealed spot-on leaks relating to HTC devices, the HTC One M9 "Hima" will be the first smartphone to include the HTC Sense 7 UI. After the release, the user interface will be rolled out to 2014 HTC handsets.

The tipster also said that the HTC One M7 and M8 will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS early next month. However, the update on the user interface will be in May to July. This means that the handsets will still run with Sense 6 UI on board and will be updated to Sense 7 later. LlabTooFeR added that entry-level models, like the Desire 310, will most likely not be updated.

The HTC One M9 is rumored to arrive in late March, at an HTC press event said to take place after the tech trade show Mobile World Congress 2015.

Meanwhile, another tipster said that the HTC One M9 will be released alongside two other smartphones – the Hima "Ace" and its Chinese variant Hima "Ultra." These handsets will be powered by MediaTek processors. Moreover, the "Ace" variant will sport a plastic body and not the signature metal casing of HTC smartphones.

According to rumors, the HTC One M9 "Hima" will have the following specs: 5-inch Full HD screen display; 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 810 processor with 64-bit architecture; 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options with microSD slot of up to 128 GB; Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with HTC Sense 7.0 UI; 20.7-megapixel Sony Exmor RS IMX220 sensor or 13-megapixel back camera and 4 Ultrapixel front-facing shooter; and 2840 mAh battery.

However, HTC has not yet announced the official specs and features of the HTC One M9 "Hima."
