HTC One A9 news: New leaked image shows HTC One A9 looking similar to iPhone 6s

New details on the upcoming HTC One A9 have been leaked.

Persistent tipster Evan Blass recently revealed on Twitter several information about the upcoming smartphone from the Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer.

The Twitter post shows the alleged different colors of the device, such as acid gold, opal silver, deep garnet, carbon gray, rose gold, and cast iron.

The supposed look of the upcoming HTC One A9 device immediately drew comparison to Apple's iPhone 6s.

Techradar points out that the back portion of the HTC One A9, which will probably have a metal shell, looks somewhat similar to the recently released iPhone device. The only obvious differences between the two smartphones are the positioning of the cameras and the company logos, the website says.

Meanwhile, a button that can be seen on the front of the upcoming device is believed to be its rumored fingerprint scanner.

Blass also reminded his Twitter followers of his earlier leaks regarding the soon-to-be released device, which was previously referred to as the HTC Hima Aero.

In June, Blass revealed that HTC will release the device in the fourth quarter of 2015. Then he said in August that the device will be officially called HTC One A9. In September, the tipster said the device will have a 5-inch FHD AMOLED touchscreen display, 2 GB of RAM with a 16-GB internal storage space, a built-in microSD card, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC (System on Chip), a 13-MP primary camera, and a 4-ultra-pixel secondary shooter. The device will also be powered by a 2150-mAh battery and sport a fingerprint scanner, his tweet said.

Blass also mentioned that the device will be released sometime in November.

HTC has yet to confirm if the leaked information about the upcoming HTC One A9 is true.
