The real-time strategy video game "Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak," by developers Blackbird Interactive, has been graced with a new update called patch 1.3.0, which addresses many of the game's bugs and issues that was raised by the gaming community. As of Nov. 21, the patch has gone live, which means that fans and players of the unique game should already be able to download it.

In the comprehensive patch notes that Blackbird Interactive has released, one of the biggest changes that they have added to "Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak" is the Tactical Pause. This allows players to pause the game in order to assess any battle situation. The developers stated that this feature is something that was always present in their previous titles.

Despite complaints from other gamers in the past, Blackbird Interactive has decided to implement it once more. It is important to mention that the Tactical Pause feature is only accessible in single-player games, as well as skirmishes. With the addition of Tactical Pause, the developers have also deemed it necessary to increase the difficulty of the game's enemy artificial intelligence.

According to International Business Times, multiple bug fixes have also been issued for the other aspects of the game, such as the downloadable content factions, as well as for some of the campaign instances. These issues have been known for a while now in the community of "Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak." Additionally, the developers also updated the "out-of-date" veterancy table, which is causing some problems in the game's multiplayer.

The patch sees multiple changes for the game, including a definite balance for factions in order to improve gameplay. Over the past few months, some factions had some units that were not being used anymore due to the shifting in meta gameplay and strategy. This is why the developers had to look for ways to improve certain aspects of factions' units to ensure maximum variety in the way that the game was played.
