The television show "Hit the Floor" is expected to return some time in 2018 at its new home network, BET, after previously being aired on VH1. The switch in networks has raised a lot of questions as to which of the original cast members will be returning for the fourth season of the show. Despite the premiere being months away, the showrunners have already released some information about the cast.

In a report by the International Business Times, season 4 will be seeing much of the old cast members, as well as new ones being part of the show. "Hit the Floor" executive producer and creator, James LaRosa, has revealed that season 4 will have just eight episodes. He also revealed the list of cast members. It appears that Tiffany Hines from the CW television show "Nikita" will be playing an enigmatic new cast member who is linked to "Devil's Nation."

Actor Cort King will be playing Pax, a young rookie basketball player who will begin his sexual discovery and journey in season 4. Hip hop artist, Kyndall, will be making an appearance on the show as well, playing the role of Jamie — a cheer dancer with a lot of motivation. The show will be getting a new sideline reporter as well, with Kristian Kordula as Noah. Kordula will be filling in for the role responsible for covering the games.

Most of the original cast members will be returning, including the reappearance of Jonathan McDaniel — who is also known as Lil J. He will once again be playing German, which may surprise the fans of the show. Now that the cast members have been assembled, it is safe to assume that they have been spending their time getting to know one another in order to have a great time during the production of the show.

According to BET, the multiple addition of cast members also means that there will be room to expand the plot of the show. It is promised that season 4 will be full of "plot twists" and surprises for its viewers.

"Hit the Floor" season 4 will premiere on BET.
