Heat vs Thunder live stream free: Watch online NBA 2014 basketball [ESPN start time]

The Miami Heat will play the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight in a massive game in the NBA 2014 season. Many are predicting this will be this year's NBA Finals line up, and with Kevin Durant and LeBron James in unstoppable form, that is seeming increasingly likely.

Tonight's big NBA clash will start at 7 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the ESPN network. For those with an ESPN subscription the game will also be shown online via live stream through the link provided below.

James no doubt will be asked to guard Durant at times on Wednesday night when the two face off. However, even though James is widely regarded as the NBA's top player over the past few season, he might have a big challenge to contain Durant tonight.

Durant is in career-best form this season and that he's scored at least 30 points in his last 11 straight games.

James has admitted that Durant will provide a massive challenge for him tonight, saying: "Individually, he can't be stopped by any 1-on-1 player. There's nobody that can guard him 1-on-1."

James will therefore be hoping to gain support from his teammates in blunting the threat coming from Durant. They will have to succeed where numerous other defenses have failed over the past month though, and if they fail to succeed themselves tonight and Durant hits the 30 mark again, it will make it extremely tough for the Heat to come out on top.

In 16 meetings between Durant and James, Durant has outscored James nine times. However, Durant winning in the man on man face off has not been enough, and James' teams are 13-3 in those games, including Miami's 4-1 series victory in the 2012 Finals.

"I like going against the best," James said. "And he's definitely right up there. ... He's a great guy to compete against, man. I wish I could play against him every night because he brings that competitive nature out of you."
