Hawk Nelson launch Kickstarter campaign

Hawk Nelson are working on their new album and they are inviting fans to help them make it happen.

The band have launched a campaign on Kickstarter with a goal of raising $35,000. So far, 69 people have backed their new album and raised just under $6,000 for the trio.

A pledge of $10 will get you the digital download of their new record, due out in March 2013.

Incentives for higher pledges include a signed physical copy of the new album, bonus acoustic songs, T-shirts, wristbands, a signed guitar, a handwritten lyric sheet, a day with the band, the opportunity to record a duet, and a private gig.

Anyone willing to pledge $10,000 gets the ultimate incentive – getting to name Hawk Nelson's new album.

The band said on their Kickstarter page: “We're frantically working away, creating, writing, recording, reinventing. All of this is translating into what we think is our strongest record yet.

“We are pumped to share this with you guys. We've made so many friends over the years, friends who have always supported us and we are so grateful for all your amazing support!

“Here's the newest way you can get involved and check out exclusive incentives only offered right here on Kickstarter.”
