The popular open-world roleplaying game (RPG) "Final Fantasy XV" is getting a brand new DLC on Dec. 13. Titled "Project Ignis," the new DLC will include brand new cutscenes and multiple endings.

The first few minutes of the "Project Ignis" DLC were uploaded to PlayStation's YouTube Channel on Oct. 30, 2017, and fans have been excited about the new update ever since.

The trailer begins with narration. A voiceover is heard saying these words, "Listen well, a king cannot lead while standing still. A king pushes forward always, accepting the consequences and never looking back."

It was followed by action sequences and cut-scenes that showcased not only the game's character and level design but some of the game's playable quests as well. The trailer also featured a handful of enemies that players will encounter while playing the game.

Characters from the "Project Ignis" update also referenced Noctis, the protagonist of "Final Fantasy XV," bringing in some of the story elements for players that already familiar with the original game. The trailer ends with an announcement: "Project Ignis" will be available for PlayStation 4 on Dec. 13.

Following "Project Ignis," a DLC titled "Project Ardyn" is set for release sometime in 2018. "Project Ardyn" as its title suggests will revolve around the villain Ardyn and his backstory.

The game will also receive a First Anniversary Update that will allow the players to switch between Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis in the main "Final Fantasy XV" game.

Recently, "Final Fantasy XV" added a DLC titled "Comrades" to their base game. The DLC allowed players to go online and play other games as they traversed the world in search of gems. "Comrades" allowed players to create their playable characters while retaining the main characters from the base game.

"Final Fantasy XV" first came out in November of 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
