Dying Jade wants sons to know about Jesus

Jade Goody has revealed she wants to christen her sons before she dies after receiving the devastating news last week that her cancer is terminal.

The 27-year-old reality TV star is drawing up her will after being told that she has only months to live.

According to the Mirror, Jade said wanted to christen sons Bobby, five, and Freddy, four, so that they know their mummy is looking down on them from Heaven.

“I want them to understand that Mummy will be in Heaven watching over them. It’s really important to me now that they learn about Jesus and I want them to be christened so they still feel I’m there for them.”

Jade admitted she was devastated after doctors told her they had done everything they could for her and that she was finding it hard to tell her boys she was going to die.

"The doctors told me they have done everything they can. I really thought I was going to be OK. I have cried and cried and cried,” she said.

“I do not know how to tell them. I don't want to frighten them. I explained to them I am coming home next week with a nurse and they will be spending more time with their dad.”

Jade said she plans to put together a memory box to help the boys remember their lives together after she is gone.

Speaking to the News Of The World, she said: “I want to ask God why he couldn’t have given me more time with my boys.

“Just a bit—just enough to hear them laugh a few more times, to see that they’re happy, to write them long letters so I can tell them who I was and how much I loved them and remind them about all the things we did together.

“Because they might forget me. And I can’t bear the thought of that.

“I’ve decided I’m going to make them a Memory Box and put in lots of things that will remind them of me and what we did together. And maybe when they’re older it will help them remember.”

Jade was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer last summer and was told last week that her cancer had spread to her brain and bones. She says her absolute priority now is to secure her sons’ future.

Boyfriend Jack Tweed, 21, proposed to her at her hospital bedside on the eve of Valentine’s Day and the couple plan to marry as soon as possible.

“I want them to have the best life possible. I know I’m ignorant, but I’m going to make sure my boys are not. I will make sure they have the best education… and they will always know that it’s what their mum did for them,” she said.

“That will be my legacy to them. It’s all I can do now. Hopefully, they will always remember that I did my best for them.

“I want to set up a trust to pay for their education and make sure they have the chances I didn’t.”
