"Duck Dynasty" stars Willie and Korie Robertson have tried to raise their children John Luke, Sadie, Bella, Willie Alexander, and Rebecca Lo to the best of their abilities, and they know other parents aspire to do the same.

However, they understand very well that parenting can get very difficult nowadays since today's youth are technologically savvy and are exposed to so many inappropriate things.

"It's one of the biggest problems, I think, today. Parents not there, they're working, they're doing something, and they don't realise the technology. It's super scary," Willie told ET Online.

"What are they learning? What are the messages that are being given to them about what's important in life?" his wife Korie added. "The people that they look up to that are supposedly in the spotlight and getting all the attention, are they people of value? Are they what you want to be when you grow up?"

Because of this, Willie and Korie limit their kids' Internet usage, and they block certain programmes from television and monitor the films their kids get to see.

"We're not isolationists by any means," clarified Willie. "I went to a public school. I was exposed to a lot of things and you get strong and you learn how to function in the world. They're gonna be dumped into the world at 18 and have to deal with it in on their own, so we explain things and the key there is how we live our lives... and explain that it may not be best for us, but we're not gonna judge other people."

Among the other people they do not want to judge are the Kardashians from the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." Even though the two families differ in their beliefs and values, Willie said they still prefer to see the positive similarities they share with the Kardashians.

"We try to pull the positive things out of a family," Willie said. "Korie always says that the Kardashians, they always stick together, and that's like the Robertsons. They stick together with each other no matter what."
