With the open beta having come to a close and the official release just over the horizon, Arc System Works surprises those looking forward to "Dragon Ball FighterZ" by revealing one last playable character — the game-original Android 21, albeit in a more pinkish state.

People had known about Android 21 before, but for the longest time it seemed like she was going to be restricted as just a story mode non-playable character with many fans wondering if she would play a larger role outside of that. Well, according to the latest issue of "V-Jump" magazine that was translated by ShounenGamez, she will undergo a major transformation during the game's plot that somehow turns her into a member of the Majin race, just like Majin Buu and Kid Buu.

Her transformation also brings forth a new set skills that fans would expect from a Majin character. Her special move, appropriately named "Tasting Cut," has her latching on to her opponent and draining their energy. Once that's done, she will then be able to use her foe's special abilities with the magazine specifically showing Goku's "Kamehameha" and Krillin's "Solar Flare."

If her new skin tone and power to copy abilities was not enough to convince people of her new Majin race, her other special surely will. "Hungry Time" sends out a pink beam that, if it hits the opponent, instantly turns them into a macaroon, a technique she shares with the other two Majin characters who can turn their opponents into some sort of delectable snack and consume them on the spot.

The addition of Majin Android 21 brings up the total roster count of "Dragon Ball FighterZ" to 24 at launch with more characters set to be released later on as downloadable content. The game is scheduled to arrive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on Jan. 26.
